Here at the Christopher Meredith Foundation, we focus on two things – supporting underprivileged musicians and anyone within the music industry facing Mental Health difficulties.
We understand that a career within the music industry comes with unique challenges. The unsociable hours, performance pressure, high expectations and unpredictable rewards can all have an impact. Here at the CMF we believe there is a need to highlight how challenging it can be within this beautiful, creative and diverse environment. Working in partnership with other charities and organisations we are committed to providing support and resources to those in need.
We believe all talented musicians should have the opportunity to follow their dreams and pursue their chosen musical career in whatever genre they represent, regardless of their financial position, background or constraints. Our aim is to provide funding to enable positive action and progression for sole musicians and bands alike, who otherwise would be disadvantaged due to lack of funds.
